My telegram 254 of
U.S.Government have sought assurance
from I..G. that they would do nothing to impede onward
transmission to China of ars and material exported
from U.3.A. for use of Chinese Government. I propose
to inform Foreign Office that so far as Government
of Burma is concerned desired assurance may be given.
